Q. Can I build these projects outside the UK and run them on different voltages, eg. in the USA?
A. Yes, most of these projects use step down transformers with a 15 volt output, as long as this is the same then there shouldn't be a problem.
Q. Can I run these projects on batteries?
A.Yes, most of these projects can be run from 12 or 9 volt batteries, most of the operatingvoltages work between 3 and 15 volts.
Q. How do I get hold if the kits mentioned on this site?
A. Most projects have a link to their respective owners site, some of thesites have online purchasing options, the custom projects on this site have detailed schematics and partslists to work from when building your own.
Q. Can I buy project kits direct from LightsAlive?
A. Unfortunately no, at the moment we do not sell kits via the website, it is a reference site only. All of our projects use parts that are readily available 'off the shelf'.
